North Carolina Architectural Photography – Charlotte Residence Addition

One of the neat things in my transition from architecture to architectural photography is that I’ve had a chance to work with friends and former peers in a way I didn’t before. Last month I had the pleasure to shoot a residential design addition for Jessica Hindman and Studio H Home Design in Charlotte, North Carolina. We were classmates in the graduate architectural program and North Carolina State and sat right next to each other during our final design studio. So it’s really nice to have things come full circle, developing business relationships with those I’m already quite familiar with. Like many in recent years, Jess has struck out on her own down in Charlotte and is doing a great job with her clients down there.

These are a few shots I captured for Studio H of a nearly-complete second-story home addition. She did a real good job with this one. No clouds so the bright sun made things a bit challenging shooting the front facade, but it made for prime dusk conditions. Enjoy and I’ll see you next blog. 🙂
